New Brain-based Computer Architecture from IBM

In early August 2013, IBM researchers unveiled TrueNorth, a new computer architecture that imitates how a brain works.  This is a drastic departure from how current computers are designed and will open amazing areas of software design that will mimic brain function and analysis.
