About WujiTech

Greetings! 

WujiTech is the brainchild of Francesco Garri Garripoli, author, health & wellness advocate, Emmy Award-winning media producer, and software designer. 

In the late 1970s Francesco worked with cutting edge technologists in California and Washington, D.C. exploring the current state-of-the art solutions in media and personal growth. 

With visionaries such as Gene Roddenberry, Ray Bradbury, Barbara Marx-Hubbard and others, he had the opportunity to work on software and media projects that were designed to make a positive difference for  business, governement and the individual. 

With a solution-oriented approach for large-scale applications, Francesco soon started his own software design firm during the 1980s creating high-end applications for clients such as AT&T Bell Labs, Hewlett-Packard, U.S. Government, Catepillar-Benelux, PBS-TV, and a variety of Fortune 500 firms. 

He was the president of the East Coast U.S. Chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) Special Interest Group on Computer Graphics (SIGGRAPH) for three years, and created projects specializing in data visualization software applications that allowed massive amounts of information to be displayed for non-technical users.  His avante garde software design approach was to team artists and everyday computer users with programmers during the development of user-friendly applications for large corporations and government agencies.

With an interest, expertise and passion for health and wellness education, Francesco began to develop software solutions for the medical industry during the 1990s working with Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto.  The result was a unique online survey/query tool to help identify at-risk patients by gathering data and then analyzing it in a highly automated and visual way.  This project grew to become a national, Canada-wide program for the Ministry of Health which Francesco eventually turned over as a non-profit, community service effort.

Technologies in the 21st Century has allowed Francesco to evolve this experience along with hardware processing speed and internet/server technologies to create WujiTech.  Pulling together a team of software designers and application experts from around the world, WujiTech continues the “solutions” approach to clients needing to collect information, analyze it, report it, and use it to build everything from their bottom line to deeply networked online communities.
